A holiday hello from
Jasmine Janaye
Wow, what a year!
Many of you know that I’ve been busy rediscovering my creative passions and working toward a new career in music and entertainment. 2023 felt like a warm up. A year of trying new things, remembering how to be a beginner.
And while the learning curve has been steep, I’m really proud of just how many new things I managed to do. Let me catch you up…
Co-wrote 4 original songs with 3 incredibly talented artists and producers through ATL Collective.
Recorded my first two original solo tracks and broke ground on my debut EP album.
Performed at concerts and open mics throughout Atlanta, sharing the stage with musical greats in jazz and R&B.
Sang background vocals for fellow independent artists for both live shows and studio recordings.
Found a beautiful community through jam sessions with artists supporting one another on our journeys of creative expression.
And those are just the highlights!
Then, about a week ago, I recorded a cover of one of my favorite Christmas songs for you. This is my Christmas card to family and friends who have been cheering me this far—and we’re just getting started.
If 2023 was the warm up year, I can’t wait to show you what’s next for 2024. I hope you’ll stay tuned to follow along the ride!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
